Q1: Can you turn it off while not using it?

A1: yes, you can use remote control to power off it while not using this gym timer. You can also unplug it to turn it off.

Q2: How many rounds can we preprogram or does people has to use the remote for each round? If so, each round has to be same workout and rest. Right?

A2:you can program max 99 rounds for each interval . And you can program different workout time and rest time. And you can one-click to enter TABATA, FGB, and stopwatch function. Of course you can save your programmed workout and rest under shortcut key from 0 to 9(at most save up to 10).
